Twelve intense hours filled with a variety of activities. After attending English and chemistry classes, our students, along with their Italian peers, started working on their travel journal in the ICT Lab, capturing images of the most notable areas of the Liceo.
Next, we indulged in the second gastronomic tasting, this time focusing on sweets. We enjoyed delights such as zeppole, sospiri, dolci alle mandorle, biscotti al burro, crostata ricotta, and scarcelle, which transported us once again to the heart of Puglia.
With this significant boost of energy, we headed to Castel del Monte, located 30 kilometers from Bisceglie. This 13th-century castle, featuring Gothic and Romanesque architecture, is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Finally, we enjoyed the last rays of the sun reflecting on the pinkish waters of the Margherita di Savoia salt pans.
