Our students Pablo and Roque, who are currently taking part in a long-term mobility in Žilina (Slovakia), have had the opportunity to experience a meaningful tradition at their host school.
After completing the first term, first-year students officially become members of the school through a traditional celebration known as Imatrikulácie. This symbolic event formally welcomes new students and helps strengthen their sense of belonging to the school community.
The celebration was organised by third-year students, in cooperation with the school guidance counsellor, who prepared a variety of activities to make the event both engaging and memorable.
Taking part in school events like this allows Pablo and Roque to gain first-hand insight into Slovak school traditions, become fully integrated into daily school life and deepen their understanding of the host country’s educational culture — a key objective of the Erasmus+ programme.
Nuestros alumnos Pablo y Roque, que están realizando su movilidad de larga duración en Žilina (Eslovaquia), han tenido la oportunidad de vivir una tradición muy especial del centro educativo de acogida.
Tras finalizar el primer trimestre, los estudiantes de primer curso pasan a ser oficialmente miembros del centro a través de la celebración conocida como Imatrikulácie. Este evento simbólico da la bienvenida formal al alumnado más joven y refuerza su sentido de pertenencia a la comunidad educativa.
La actividad ha sido organizada por los alumnos de tercer curso, en colaboración con la orientadora del centro, quienes prepararon diferentes dinámicas y actividades para hacer de esta jornada un momento cercano y significativo.
Participar en celebraciones como esta permite a Pablo y Roque conocer de primera mano las tradiciones escolares eslovacas, integrarse plenamente en la vida del centro y comprender mejor la cultura educativa del país de acogida, uno de los grandes valores del programa Erasmus+.
